Recent and upcoming events:

Hilary created a new duet for dancers Blu Furutate and Cristina Baretta, which was workshopped at Juilliard in June, and will be presented again this September, 2023. 

Winter, 2023-Summer, 2023: in her role as Director of Dance for Juilliard's K-12 Programs and Initiatives, Hilary visited schools this winter-spring-summer in Madrid, Barcelona, Dublin, and Oxford. This fall she will travel to lead professional development workshops in Kuala Lumpur, Prague, and then will also be working with schools in Phnom Penh, Bangkok, and Pattaya,

Spring 2022-Autumn 2022: Hilary is back on the road, with travels to schools in Dublin, Madrid, Quito, and Guayacil. 

Fall 2021-Winter 2022: Juilliard is back in-person. Hilary teaches Dance Composition to the 2nd Years and Pedagogy for Arts Education to the seniors of Juilliard's Dance Division. All international work remains virtual for the time being.

Spring 2020-Winter 2021: All work remains virtual for the time being, with Juilliard classes and  international work continuing apace.

January-March, 2020: Hilary travels to Dublin, Madrid, Prague, Slovakia, and China for Juilliard Global K-12. 

May 16-18, 2019: Premiere of Nothing is perfect, nothing is finished. at Gibney, 280 Broadway, NYC. This dance was developed with the assistance of audience collaborators over the course of a two and a half week residency.

September 2018-March, 2019: in addition to teaching at Juilliard and acting as its director of dance for Juilliard Global K-12 program, Hilary has been on the road, visiting Shanghai, Ningbo, Chengdu, Phnom Penh, Madrid and Dublin. She is also making a new dance.

November, 2017-March, 2018: Hilary continues to travel the world for Juilliard, visiting Hanoi, Phnom Penh, Bankok, Shanghai, and Dublin.

June 16, 2017: Hilary choreographs a flash mob for Juilliard Global, for Nord Anglia Education.

May 21-27, 2017: Hilary travels to Israel to represent the Juilliard School.

May 11-13, 2017: Premiere of Radiator at Gibney Dance, 280 Broadway, NYC.

February, 2017: Company performances and residency at Roger Williams University, creating a new work for the students.

November, 2016-March, 2017: Hilary travels to Tanzania, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Hanoi, Geneva, Laussane, and Pully to represent Juilliard.

September, 2016: In addition to her faculty position in the dance division at Juilliard, Hilary becomes the director of dance, K-12 education for Juilliard Global.

May, 2016: Begin rehearsals for a new work to premiere at the Gibney Dance Center, May, 2017.

September 18-21, 2015: Hilary travels to the University at Buffalo to create a dance for the student dance company.

May 13-16, 2015: The Gibney Dance Company performs an excerpt of Hilary Easton's The Short-Cut, with music by Thomas Cabaniss, text by Helen Schulman, and with special guest performer Steven Rattazzi. More information here

November 13-15, 2014: Hilary Easton + Co. premieres I Am With You at The Danspace Project at St. Mark's Church, Thursday-Saturday, 8pm

March 11-15, 2014: invited work-in-progress showings of I Am With You at the Gibney Dance Center, 890 Broadway.

Hilary joined The Gibney Dance Center as the Creative Director of Training Education and Research.

July, 2013: HIlary Easton + Co. begin rehearsals on their latest work,
I Am With You, to premiere at the Danspace Project at St. Mark's Church in 2014-2015.

July, 2013: Metawee River Theater Company's latest work, choreographed by Hilary Easton, opens for their summer tour.

May, 2013: Hilary Easton was honored as a "Champion of Change" at Gibney Dance's Art + Action benefit. The Gibney Dance Center recently received a Dance USA grant for a project to be implemented by Ms. Easton, called DANcentricity.

January, 2013: Headwaters Dance Co., Missoula, Montana, to perform an excerpt from The Short-Cut.

September, 2012: Hilary joined the faculty at The Juilliard School.

August 29-31, 2012: Hilary represents the US at the First International Teaching Artists Conference, Oslo, Norway. Eric Booth's article in the Teaching Artist Journal about the conference can be read here.

May 22, 23, 25, 2012: Carnegie Hall LinkUp Series presents choreography for Hilary Easton + Co. and the entire audience, performed with The Orchestra of St. Luke's. More info: carnegiehall.org

May 17-20, 2012: Hilary Easton + Company premiere
The Constructors at Baryshnikov Arts Center, NYC.

May 11, 2012: The Juilliard School: recital of the work of composer Thomas Cabaniss, including a performance of an excerpt of
Hilary Easton's 2005 The Short Cut, performed by Juilliard Dance Division students.

February 26-March 5, 2012: Residency and performance of
Light and Shade at Roger Williams University.

October 21, 2011: Company performance of an excerpt from
The Reclamation at Joe's Pub, for DanceNow/NYC's fall festival.

June 24, 2011: Light and Shade at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival.
